I moved to the United States back in April/2005 to be with my husband. My husband and I met online back in 2002. We got married in March 2004 and then started the process of obtaining my visa so I could move to the United States.
I was a nanny back in Canada. I actually was a glorified babysitter. I just like calling myself a nanny sounds more professional. I hope to start nannying down here. I have to get my California driver's license first and then a car before I can go to work. In Los Angeles you need a car to get anywhere. So right now I am a stay-at-home wife. I spend a lot of time watching TV, and on the computer.
I haven't been back home since I moved here. I am starting to miss my family. Especially my younger set of sibs. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. I am the oldest at 31. The 4 brothers come next aged, 29, 27, 14 and 13 and my little sister is 10 years old. Yes, we all have the same mom and dad. I hope to be back to visit them soon but our funds are kind of low right now.
For the first 15 years of my life I lived in Manitoba, the Steinbach area (about 30 miles south of Winnipeg). Most of the extended family still lives there (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins...)
