Miller Canfield celebrated its move into Toronto last week by throwing a bash for 200 clients. The 370-lawyer firm has offices in China, Poland and the United States, but the bulk of lawyers practise in Michigan -- Ontario's top trading partner, accounting for 27.59% of Ontario exports. The firm employs 25 lawyers in Windsor and moved into Toronto by merging with the 10-lawyer firm Gaertner, Tobin.
