Québec City’s 400th Anniversary
travel.QC.400.jpgQuébec City will mark its 400th birthday in 2008: an exceptional year for an exceptional city that can justly claim to be the cradle of French civilization in North America, the jumping-off point for far reaching continental exploration and a major gateway for European immigration. Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the city will celebrate four centuries as a vital and influential presence on North American soil!

The Tunnels of Moosejaw
During the days of American prohibition, bootleggers used the tunnels underneath Moosejaw, Saskatchewan to funnel their goods into the U.S., and notorious American gangster Al Capone hid out in Moose Jaw when he needed to disappear from Chicago. Interactive, theatrical tours take guests underground to tell the story of bootlegging and the connection between Moose Jaw and Al Capone in the 1920s.

The Bay of Fundy
travel.NS.fundywhale.jpgA billion tons of water moving in and out of the Bay of Fundy twice a day for eternity has created a land and seascape between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick that is unparalleled. The Bay of Fundy tide is the highest in the world and five times higher than the Atlantic Coast average. Raft the tidal waves near the shore or whale-watch further out to sea. The entire coast is at your fingertips in the Bay of Fundy.

RVing in the Yukon
Whether you’re motoring through the  Yukon on an RV trip or camping under the stars, the Yukon has plenty of clean, comfortable campgrounds and RV parks in the midst of spectacular mountain scenery. Spend your days camping, hiking and fishing or just soaking up the amazing scenery.

Wine Tours in British Columbia
BC’s major wine-producing region, the Okanagan Valley , is home about 95 wineries at last count. Nicknamed “ Napa of the North,” it is a Frommer’s Top Travel Destination for 2007 and has an ideal climate for grape growing, with four distinct seasons and ample sunshine; the southern end of BC’s Okanagan Valley enjoys 220 days of sunshine per year!
